I was about 5 years old when this restaurant closed, so my memories may not be entirely accurate. I also hope to explore my own possibilities of a creative entrepreneurship which would truly Make Something New in 365 days from 4-1 (2011).

Day 5 A Collection

Day 5/365  What do you collect?  Work with your collection.

Ooooh, this was FUN.
I have my Smiley face collection in my bedroom, and thensome. I posed all the plushie smileys for a group photo, on my bed.  No kidding, there was   41   of them!        Was ssooo proud, they all smiled for the camera!!!

My bedding consists of various smileys: pillow (JOE BOXER), pillowcase, pillow sham, sheets, blanket.  The pink plush flower pillow belonged to my DD, and she used fabric paint to put a face on, to give to me! And one un-plushie Smiley, an inflatable ANGEL (my Grammy) in front of the lamp.


 Bonus effect of this Challenge, is I've been trying to downsize my Smiley face collection, unsuccessfully. Now that I have this photo as a remembrance, I bagged more than half of the plushies and donated them to a local thrift shop!  As FLYlady coaches, think of 'donating' as 'blessing someone else'.

And this picture to show off the vintage curtain(s), 3 clocks (with a sign to read: It's Time to Smile!), and the Smiley face lightbulb!          Hope this makes YOU smile!

    oh my god! this is so cool, totally jealous. If I had that much yellow and smiles in my room I'd never be having bad days.

    Hi soumya, The actual Smiley pillow is by Joe Boxer with Smiley's tongue, a KMart brand, from a few years back. The white pillowcase loaded with Smileys was a WalMart line, about 5 years back... they had more at that time, with a red plaid background with too.
