365 A Daily Creativity Journal

This blog is to record my projects loosely based on my memories of my family's business called the 41 House. I was about 5 years old when this restaurant closed, so my memories may not be entirely accurate. I also hope to explore my own possibilities of a creative entrepreneurship which would truly Make Something New in 365 days from 4-1 (2011).

Day 1 of 365

I started my 365 Daily Challenge on April 1, 2011 as planned, thinking it would be ssooo easy & fun. Challenge is indeed an appropriate word!

With April nearing its end, I 'wanna' catch up on most of this months' projects, including blogging & photos. Especially when realizing this morning, come May 1, I'll need my math brain cells to follow the Creative Day # with the date, understand?!? Like May 4 - a week from now, will be my Day #34. How I wish I were already in the habit of DAILY creativity.

Day #1/365:  Start Small.
The final project is a simple pin for me to wear while working on my Daily. Like a thinking cap. In my memory the 41 House building had one of those spire-things or bell-tower. I've had a fascination with these architectural 'things', but don't know the actual name.
I cut this similar-looking thing from a plastic container, and glued it onto a cursive "D" stick pin from my Grammy's jewelry box. I'm wearing it now, as I did the first few days of my Creativity time... seems it does help me focus! (my pin may be embellished further if so inspired)      I wasted spent literally hours puttering with many supplies, before I decided on my first instinct project, which is too simple!
It also being the first day of the Red Sox season, I HAD to wear my Sox Tee.

I also hope to practice brevity in blogging...
