365 A Daily Creativity Journal

This blog is to record my projects loosely based on my memories of my family's business called the 41 House. I was about 5 years old when this restaurant closed, so my memories may not be entirely accurate. I also hope to explore my own possibilities of a creative entrepreneurship which would truly Make Something New in 365 days from 4-1 (2011).

Day 3 Paper Project

Day 3/365 Make something out of paper, without scissors, glue or drawing.

I saw directions for making these plant-able plant pots a long time ago, and never tried it. Part of my 'being behind' includes starting seeds, from last year's plants & packets. Living on the beach, I'm a Container Gardener.
Grammy had her beautiful Rock Garden, mostly perennials. About age 5, my DD (Dear Daughter) used her smooth beach rocks to make her own Rock Garden!

I didn't search the directions again, just folded the torn newspaper around a large pill bottle. My other grandmother had given me the free packet of seeds - a message of grandmothers-ly Forget-Me-Not. For photo purposes only, I taped the bottom & the candies helped one stand flat.    Oh, and 25 days later, I'm still being behind and must start those seeds, soon.
